Subject: Oldies but goodies
If it hadn't been for Mr. Dunn, it could have been a good movie. He over did his part, his slap stick fell flat. And some of the other actors weren't very good. Story line was O.K. With better writing, acting, and casting it could have been very good.

Subject: Enjoyable
I enjoyed this little thriller. The acting is decent enough, the pacing is good, and it certainly has the pre-war atmosphere. Dialog is good, even snappy at times. Most of the action is in the form of stock footage of Shanghai being bombed by the Japanese. I recognized a number of Chinese actors, including child actor Layne Tom, Jr., who is uncredited in the movie, at IMDb and Wikipedia. He was in several Charlie Chan movies as various sons, and got to say 3 sentences in this one.

I downloaded the 512Kb MPEG4 file. Video quality was adequate, the audio was fine.

Subject: Audio is bad.
There is a strange sound coming from this flick. It sounds like birds. Don't download.

Subject: Not bad
There are a lot of things to pick apart in this flick but it's sort of a fun little film.
So....don't take it too serious and just enjoy.

Subject: Sympa
C'est un film sympathique, avec des personnages caricaturaux mais attachant. Un petit film d'espionnage à découvrir.

Subject: Not the same Morgan
Sorry, UglyGeorge, but Ralph Morgan is not the famous Wizard of Oz : the real Wiz is Franck Morgan, Ralph's younger brother...
